Executive Director
Peter F. Lowet
Peter Lowet has been the Executive Director of MobileMed since 2011. During his tenure, MobileMed has focused on enhancing its chronic disease management capabilities, integrating behavioral health services, transitioning to an electronic health record, and expanding to serve Medicaid as well as uninsured patients. Under his leadership, MobileMed was awarded designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
Mr. Lowet has extensive experience in healthcare partnerships, strategic and operational consulting, and quality improvement. He previously worked at the National Council on Aging, where he was Vice President of Strategy and Organizational Transformation. Prior to NCOA, Mr. Lowet served as the Director of Business Development at the NYU Langone Medical Center, where he managed the assessment, planning and implementation of new strategic initiatives. He has also worked as the Corporate Director of Business and System Development at MedStar Health and as Associate Hospital Administrator for Clinical Resource Management at Georgetown University Hospital. Mr. Lowet has a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management.

Director of Finance and Administration
Nurifah Muhamad
Nurifah Muhamad, MobileMed’s Director of Finance and Administration, has an extensive finance and accounting background. Prior to MobileMed, she worked for ten years in controller and manager roles, most recently as an outsource contractor with clients in multiple industries. Ms. Muhamad has an MS in Business and Management from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.

Medical Director
Dr. Megan Hollis, MD
Dr. Megan Hollis, MD, FAAFP joined Mobile Med as Medical Director in 2023. Dr. Hollis is a board-certified family medicine physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine. She is a proud “triple Hoya” having completed undergraduate, medical school and residency training at Georgetown University. She served as chief resident in her final year at the Georgetown University-Providence Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program where she developed her skill and commitment to community healthcare in underserved populations.
Since completing training, she has worked at Federally Qualified Health Centers in the DMV area practicing broad spectrum family medicine and serving in leadership positions including Medical Director and Director of Medical Education. In addition to her clinical work, she was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2018 and works with medical students and residents. Dr. Hollis prides herself on mentoring and encouraging others to enter and continue careers in community health and completed the American Academy of Family Physicians' inaugural certificate program in Leading Physician Wellbeing in 2021. She is a strong advocate for innovation and advocacy towards ensuring wellbeing for clinicians working in community health. Outside of work you'll find her doting on her pack of "fur-babies", tending to a jungle of houseplants (aka "leaf-babies"), knitting/crocheting, or enjoying an outdoor adventure with her partner, family and friends.

Director of Development & Outreach
Anthony Koomson
Anthony Koomson joined MobileMed as Director of Development and Outreach in September 2022. Being an immigrant himself, he is excited about the opportunity that MobileMed provides to low-income residents of the county especially immigrants who do not have health insurance to navigate the healthcare system and to obtain health services that is important for the health of their families. Anthony has considerable experience in International humanitarian and development work, mainly working as director responsible for resource development and donor interface for programs benefiting low-income countries in hard-to-reach areas in the world. Anthony has a Master’s degree in Arts for International development from Ohio University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy (MPP) from American University, Washington, DC

Director of Clinical Operations
Alexandra Del Castillo
Alexandra Del Castillo was recently promoted to the newly created position of Director of Clinical Operations, after 12 years as Assistant Clinical Director for Operations. She joined MobileMed in 2008 and served as its first Specialty Care Coordinator, where she got to design and implement MobileMed’s specialty care referral process to outside community organizations, a few years later, due to her performance and work ethic, Alexandra was promoted to Assistant Clinical Director. Prior to joining MobileMed, she volunteered at the Primary Care Coalition of Montgomery County as a patient advocate for the Project Access and Medbank programs helping uninsured patients access costly brand name medications and specialty care appointments, causes that are close to her heart. Ms. Del Castillo grew up in Colombia where she received her medical degree.
