Clinical Facilitator

Mobile Medical Care, Inc. is seeking a full-time bilingual Clinical Facilitator working 40 hours per week, some evenings possible, and at clinic locations in Rockville and Bethesda. Successful candidate must be Englisg/Spanish bilingual.

Duties:

  • Conduct initial assessment of patients, including checking vital signs, height, weight, and chief complaint.
  • Conduct other components of nursing assessment under the direction of the RN Nurse Manager.
  • Maintain, manage and keep confidential the electronic medical record for assigned clinic sessions.
  • Conduct the intake and registration of new and returning patients, including all point of care testing and screening.
  • In coordination with other team members, enter patient visit data into the electronic medical record.
  • Make patient appointments, using the electronic appointment calendar.
  • In collaboration with the RN Nurse Manager, participate in case management and navigation activities.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.
  • Complete EKG’s and nebulization treatments as ordered.
  • Assist in pelvic exams and office procedures as assigned.
  • Provide interpretation as requested.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete incident reports when necessary.
  • Maintain excellent time and attendance.
  • Assignments may be changed or adjusted as necessary for operations. This individual will be accommodating to these arrangements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • College degree strongly preferred, with excellent technical skills. Previous medical knowledge and/or experience in healthcare or with electronic medical record systems is a plus.
  • Ability to appropriately interact with multicultural patient population.
  • Must be able to type and provide excellent documentation of patient assessment in the electronic medical record.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish mandatory.

Quality Improvement Data Analyst

Mobile Medical Care, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Improvement Data Analyst to work at our headquarters located in Bethesda. Hours are M - F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Duties:

1. Preparation of patient volume/demographic/outcome reports for funders and for internal purposes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

2. Participate on the QI Committee and provide primary analytical support

  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reports that analyze clinical metrics, extracting data from the electronic health record system.
  • Present data overall and by relevant segment (e.g. individual provider or clinic site)

3. Serve as primary resource to complete the annual UDS (Uniform Data System) Report required for community health center grantees, as well as other federal reporting for supplemental projects/funding

4. Assist with operational reporting, e.g. patient no-show and cancellation rates; provider productivity

5. Support grant proposals/applications by running data reports as requested

6. Miscellaneous tasks

  • Support patient outreach efforts, e.g. follow-up with patients due for a routine screening
  • Provide data relevant to the provider re-privileging process
  • Support financial/administrative activities as needed

7. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated capability in data analysis
  • Experience working with database and related software strongly preferred
  • Intermediate or higher skill level with Excel
  • Healthcare experience a plus, particularly working with an electronic health record system
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; highly self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience
